figtree churassco bar & grill

figtree now open Friday lunch 12.00noon to 2.30pm plus Tuesday to Saturday from 5.00pm to late.

figtree is newest dining experience located at The Gateway Inn on the Penthouse level (L6) 26 William Street MAYFIELD.

The dining experience is Churrasco (pronounced shoo – has – ko) which uses premium quality meats which are slowly roasted on long skewers (swords) over a flaming grill.

When you choose to dine churrasco we serve ‘rodizo style’ which means you choose from a selection of char grilled meats, served just the way you like. Our churrascaria will serve to your table by sword (or giant skewer).

Dining churrasco is sure to please the most discerning diner and especially those looking for something completely unique.

We guarantee you will relax in the stunning surrounding while staff will enjoy providing this very original concept.

Just a short note to provide feedback on the excellent dining experience my family and I enjoyed at Brasserie 88 last night whilst celebrating my daughters 10th birthday party.

As my daughter and one of her friends suffer from severe allergic reactions to some food types my wife had notified the restaurant when booking and the resulting assistance was beyond expectation. Chef Hudson personally came out to talk with us and the girls about what they could eat and then prepared their meals exactly as requested. This kind of service is not normally encountered and showed a real commitment to safety and customer service.

The food and service for the rest of our party was also extremely well received and resulted in an night certainly enjoyed by all. The meals were all beautifly presented and no one went away hungry or unhappy.
During the meal we were served by several staff, unfortunately the only names I can remember are Elli and Suzie who did a fantastic and friendly job.

Well done to all the Brasserie 88 and Wests team for providing a great night that really definied great service and dining.
