If you’ve never experienced churrasco before, prepare yourself for a unique culinary experience.
Pronounced ‘choo-rah-sco’ or ‘shoo-has-ko’, churrasco is a Brazilian-style barbecue laden with mouth-watering spit-roasted meats and seafood, cooked in a churrasco grill and served from a sword-sized skewer to your table. The beauty of the churrasco experience is there is no need to choose from the menu – all you have to do is relax at your table and our servers will come to you.
The churrasco feast begins with salted, warm flatbread with tomato and goat’s cheese dipping sauce, followed by a tantalising selection of hot and cold tapas. Our specially selected tapas are served for sharing and the small, tasty portions are designed to whet the appetite for the feast to come.
Diners wil enjoy the selection of tapas and breads, churrasco meats and the seafood selection which is lovingly barbecued and basted with Brazilian marinades and spices by the figtree chefs.
Nine churrasco courses are served, complemented by smoked sea salt crusted double cooked chats, figtree salad and a selection of condiments and sauces.
The feast of flavours will consist of five different cuts of meat and three seafood, with pineapple served in the middle, sliced and served directly to plates 'rodizio style' by our knife-wielding servers; the churrascarians.
For those looking for the full experience, the 'el grande' churrasco includes a special dessert of churros with fresh strawberries and fine chocolate ganache.
Gourmet coffee and tea is available, as are a tempting selection of ports, liqueurs and dessert wines.
We also have a gourmet a la carte menu and can provide ideas and suggestions for vegetarians and for those requiring gluten free options.
