About us

The Anchorage Hotel and Spa is a luxury resort located in the picturesque Port Stephens, providing guests with a stunning base for activities such as whale watching, sailing, exploring the local coastline or simply relaxing by the pool. The property offers world class experiences through the culinary creations of the Wild Herring and Galley Kitchen and five star indulgence at Spa Lucca.

About the Position

Working in a large team, positions will include working in our premier restaurant The Wild Herring, food outlets for our hotel operations and our Function center. In addition to working within a supportive and experienced team, our menu constructed by our Executive Chef has incorporated fresh local regional seafood. Supporting the Executive Chef on a daily basis and the overall operation of the kitchen in their absence. This includes but is not limited to checking the quality of all goods, co-ordination and supervision of all kitchen staff and upholding current recipes, systems, procedures and standards.

About you

You are trades qualified with experience in a leadership position. With experience in fine dining establishments you will have great attention to detail, technical and professional knowledge. Individual leadership, coaching and mentoring will be your strengths.
